WES: HR Analytics App
How it works
WES (Workforce Efficiency System) is an HR analytics app that tracks and evaluates the performance of laboratory staff. It is eira's own product, from the first idea to shipped releases.
Our Approach
Performance reviews are only fair if they're consistent. WES scores every employee each month against a KPI framework built for their role, so a phlebotomist, an accession clerk and a technician are each judged on what their job actually is.
AI Attendance Import
Instead of retyping attendance, managers drop in a screenshot of the register. A vision model reads it and turns it into structured attendance records.
Scoring and Trends
Behavioural parameters (attendance, grooming, behaviour, problem solving and manager response) feed a weighted formula. Each employee has a detail view with performance history, an attendance breakdown and a KPI category chart.
Reports, Backup and Reminders
Everything exports to a two-sheet Excel report (detailed records and a summary), with JSON backup and restore. The app sits in the system tray and reminds managers when monthly reviews are due.
Shipped and Managed
WES is released through its own releases channel and can be locked remotely, with announcements and feature switches pushed to every install. It has a dark/light theme, keyboard shortcuts and a local password with per-install salted hashing.
