This website (eira.website) is run by eira, a studio operated by Archit Datta in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. This policy explains what personal data is handled when you visit the site, get in touch or work with us, and the rights you have under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. For that data, eira is the data fiduciary.

1. Information We Collect

The site has no accounts, contact forms, analytics or advertising trackers, and it sets no cookies.

  • If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
  • If you message us on WhatsApp, we receive your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name and whatever you include in your message.
  • If you become a client, we also keep what the project and billing need, such as your name, business name, contact details and invoices.
  • Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to run and secure the site.

2. How Information Is Used

  • To reply to your enquiry and discuss a project with you.
  • To deliver and bill the work you ask us for.
  • To keep the website running, secure and free of abuse.

By emailing or messaging us, you consent to us using your details for these purposes only. We do not sell your information or share it for marketing.

3. Third-Party Services

The site is hosted on Vercel, and email is handled by Google (Gmail). WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp (part of Meta Platforms) under WhatsApp's own privacy policy. If you pay us online, the payment is handled by your bank, UPI app or payment gateway under their own terms; we only receive the payment confirmation (amount, date and reference). Some of these providers may store data outside India.

4. Data Retention

Emails and WhatsApp messages are kept for as long as needed for the conversation and any project that follows. We delete personal data once it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it (for example, invoices kept for tax purposes). Server logs are kept by the host according to its own retention policy.

5. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the personal data we hold and share it only with the people working on your enquiry or project. If a breach affects your data, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

6. Your Rights

  • Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used.
  • Ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing doesn't affect what was done before, but we may no longer be able to continue a project that needs that data.
  • Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to.

7. Grievances

If you have a concern about how your personal data is handled, contact Archit Datta at eerie543@gmail.com or on WhatsApp at +91 91239 44505. We will reply within 7 days and resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Children

This site and our services are meant for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has contacted us, tell us and we will delete their data.

9. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
